Yes, indeed, Donna was a great asset to that production, not only as a versatile actress in a number of roles, but she also saved us by stepping in and coordinating costumes for this large cast playing multiple roles, just as the costumer was melting down. (I won;t forget the moment when that original costumer held up a shmata, I asked who it was for and got the reply "Let's see who it fits!" That was the start of my descent into smoking again after a five year quit ... rather than hit her with a shovel, I picked up smoking again. Thankfully, last year saw mw smoke my last cigarette ever ... I'm completely free of the evil habit!).Kevin Fennessyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12414434316860475179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2316498084669783355.post-72286060547495010222012-06-20T09:27:35.856-07:002012-06-20T09:27:35.856-07:00Kevin,

(Though I never worked at the Publick, I saw a number of shows there and I'm very sorry I missed your Groucho!) Just for the record, Donna Asali, another Boston theatre stalwart of the era, was in your production of "Grapes of Wrath" as well.

BobThe Holding Coathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05315536266860349325noreply@blogger.com
