Kevin Fennessy
Kevin Fennessy grew up in the Inman Square neighborhood where he now resides. An actor since childhood, he studied at the Boston Conservatory and York University in Toronto. For twenty years he worked as an actor throughout the Greater Boston Theater community, throughout New England and in New York. He received the Boston Magazine Best Theatrical Director Award in 1995, citing productions of the family musical Emil & The Detectives and the outdoor Boston premiere of The Grapes of Wrath. As Artistic Director of Raven Theatrical from '94-'98, he directed Boston premieres of Charles Busch's Vampire Lesbians of Sodom and Psycho Beach Party, and received the 1997 Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Fringe Theater Production, presenting Paula Plum in Plum Pudding and John Kuntz in FREAKS! !n 1998 he opened Kevin Fennessy Casting (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0003331/ for credits).
